Having been raised with an appreciation for opera and classical music, Frederick Sommer began to explore the correlation between the way great music sounds and the visual qualities of scores that are being played. Although he had not been taught to read music, he was quick to note that the music he most respected and enjoyed also had the more elegant scores. |
